Meet The Azalea Kitchens Team

David is passionate about helping customers enjoy their journey through their Kitchen or Bath remodeling project. He is people and process focused. He has a dozen years of contracting experience and holds the NC General Contractor & HVAC licenses for Azalea Kitchens, as well as a previous career (a long time ago…) in building performance consulting. David is often found with our customers at Azalea Kitchen’s partner showrooms, guiding selections for counter top stone, tile, and plumbing fixtures to help bring their vision to life. He has degrees from the College of William & Mary and the University of Virginia and lives in Raleigh, NC. He enjoys organic vegetable gardening and flying airplanes.

Emma is our Customer Care Coordinator and our “air traffic controller.” She coordinates schedules and works directly with customers to make sure they know what comes next throughout their project. She also assists customers with finish selections, helping make the remodeling process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Emma lives in Raleigh and spends her free time training and competing in a variety of dog sports with her three dogs.

Julie is our dedicated, full-time Kitchen & Bath Designer, partnering closely with clients to bring their vision to life. She guides homeowners through design decisions, finish selections, and color choices, while offering interior design guidance to help everything come together.

Mike is a skilled carpenter and experienced remodeler who serves as our Lead Field Supervisor. His wide-ranging expertise and exceptional customer care help keep every project running smoothly. With Mike on the job, you’re in good hands.

Edgar is our other Lead Carpenter & Remodeler, bringing extensive experience in kitchen and bath remodeling. His skills include cabinetry, flooring, tile work, and more.

Ryan is a skilled carpenter specializing in trim work and cabinetry. Known for his attention for detail, he jokes that he is ‘OCD’ about details, quality, and clean-ups.

Ethan is our full-time tile specialist, handling the majority of our tile installations. He brings true craftsmanship to the job and especially loves sinking his teeth into complex, custom tile designs that require an eye for detail.

Nico is a detail-oriented carpenter who takes pride in precise, high-quality craftsmanship. He enjoys installing custom cabinets in kitchens and baths and contributing to whole-home remodels, where his attention to detail helps bring each space together.

Steven keeps our entire team on track by running our warehouse and managing job site materials. He’s also adept at tile cutting, stepping out into the field weekly to lend a hand with Ethan’s custom tile projects.

We also work with our longtime subcontractor partners who specialize in stone countertop fabrication, electrical work, plumbing, and hardwood floor refinishing.

Our Kitchen Transformations

You need a kitchen remodeling company focused on the whole experience – someone who offers turnkey design and build of all aspects of your kitchen. You’re not best served by the companies out there which are really trade specialists which do one thing as their core such as flooring, countertops, or cabinets but want to perform your entire project as a remodeler. Azalea Kitchens, at its core, is a true Wake Forest kitchen remodeling company committed to delivering comprehensive, high-quality transformations. We’re a licensed NC General Contractor and we know buildings.
